What lessons Telugu Desam should learn from these By Elections

TDP lost Bobbili and got third place in Karimnagar by elections. No one in the party expected these results and party cadre again went into depressive mood. Thease are the testing times for party leadership. Telugu desam party should get into aggressive mood to lift the activists and second rung leaders into energetic mood to face the aggressive chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Lessons from the Karimnagar and Bobbili by elections :
1. These elections high-lighted the anti government mood among the voters. But, TDP once again failed to convert them into votes.

2. Telangana voters are wanting a separate state. This slogan will once again take promonence in the 2009 Assembly elections. So, TDP leadership should understand the ground realities. It is the time Telugu desam should review its views on Telangana.

3. TDP should attack congress aggressively as this chief minister will go any extent to win the 2009 Assembly elections. He is the Lalu of Bihar. He is trying to spread the Rayalaseema faction methods to the whole state. WAKE UP AND PROTECT THE CADRE.

4. Muslims are still voting for Congress even after TDP broke its relationship with BJP. It is really a big concern for the party. In the NTR time, Andhra Pradesh muslims were voted for Telugu Desam.

5. TDP leaders should take into consideration the views of its Telangana leaders on this burning issue.
