Telugu Desam: How to regain power in 2009?

The senior most T.D.P leaders are of the opinion that the party should be brought to its original glorious position by correcting the defects.

How to regain glory for Telugu Desam Party?
1. Yerran Naidu (M.P): Party should give preference to the youth as N.T.R did in 1982 time.

2. Devender Goud (M.L.A & EX. Minister): First of all our party should be closely move with the people. The economic gap between the rich and the poor should be bridged as much as possible. Now the political field is spoiled. The money is playing main roll in elections. This attitude must go.

3. Y. Rama Krishna (M.L.A & Ex. Speaker): Now the hierarchy is in trouble. The team work in party should be improved.

4. N. Janardhana Reddy (M.L.A & Ex. Minister): It is clearly visible that there is some sort of dissatisfaction among the youth in the party .Youth must be given importance in the party and the responsibility of upbringing the party is kept on their shoulders. New blood is necessary in the party. Senior leaders must be ready for some sacrifices to save the party and again bring it to the power.

5. K. SriHari (Ex. Minister): People had developed some misunderstanding regarding our reforms. They should be enlightened. T.D.P should come to power with the positive only. If there are any organizational problems in the party they should be rectified.

6. Dr. Kodela Siva Prasada Rao (Ex. Minister): Now the party is afflicted with full of ailments .we should try to free the party from these diseases and inculcate confidence in the public.

T.D.P should regain its pro-poor image and try to return to power in the next general elections by following the above guidelines of the senior leaders. Are they really ready for sacrifices? Can they able to motivate party activists?
Party leaders should think about this single question “Why Telugu Desam is struggling even in traditional strongholds like Srikakulam etc?”

Top 10 performers of Telugu Desam party

I have selected these top 10 hard working leaders based on their performance for the past 3 years. These rankings do not represent the designation in the party or their seniority.

1. Nagam Janardhana Reddy: 9/10.

Undoubtedly, he is the most popular leader among the cadre. He was the face of the Party for the first 2 years. He is the hope for cadre. His speeches in the Assembly and outside inspired the cadre especially during the turbulent period of 2004-06. He got maximum applause even during TANA meetings in Chicago.

2. Anantpur Party workers: 9/10.

They showed their resilience even after the death of Paritala Ravi. 63 party workers laid their lives for Party. Anantpur district always play a crucial role in the critical situations for party

3. T. Devender Goud: 8/10.

Most disciplined and hard working leader in the Party. He almost single handily protected the TDP cadre in Telangana region with Pathayatras and dare devil attitude. His planning was the major reason for the success of Telugu Desam in Telangana especially in Rangareddy district in the local body elections. His outspoken nature sometimes landed him in trouble.

4. Jyothula Nehru (East Godavari): 8/10.

Telugu Desam Party won Rajahmundry Municipal Corporation under his leadership. He worked hard to resurrect the party in the politically crucial district. Telugu Desam Party will win more than 15 seats in East Godavari in 2009 Assembly Elections.

5. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu: 7/10

He was subdued in the first two years after the defeat of Telugu Desam Party in 2004 Assembly elections. He is gradually coming back to his best. He proved his leadership qualities once again in the Babli issue. He stunned the both the Congress and Telangana Rashtra Samithi by his jet speed moves on the problems of Telangana region.

6. Venugopala Chary: 6/10.

Fasting for Basara IIT and the success of party in local body elections.

7. Nannapaneni Rajakumari: 6/10.

She is the voice of Telugu Desam. She inspired cadre with her daring speeches during elections.

8. Telangana Leaders and Cadre: 6/10.

Party senior leaders like K. SriHari, Y. Dayakar Rao and M. Venkateswara Rao along with party cadre worked hard to save the party from TRS and Congress especially during 2004-05. Party will get more seats in Telangana region than traditional stronghold Coastal Andhra.

9. Sidda Raghava Rao: 6/10.

This MLC helped party with his money and rose quickly to become the vice-president.

10. M.V. Mysoora Reddy: 5/10.

He silenced his critics with his sincerity and hard working nature. He is the research specialist and back ground boy for the TDP legislative Party.

Special Mention:

Vijaya Ramarao, Chennamaneni Vidyasagara Rao, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and Mullapudi Renuka.

Party should include more young leaders in the organisation in place of aged senior leaders. They may not take the Party into 21st century.

Will Devender Goud form Telangana TDP?

Rumor mills in Hyderabad are busy with the speculation about the new party by TDP leader Devender Goud. As per rumors, if Telugu Desam Party leadership doesn’t agree for the formation of separate Telangana state, He will form a new party – Telangana Telugu Desam.

Devender Goud’s actions added fuel to these rumors. Though he met TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu on New Year day, he is spending most of the time to meet Telangana area leaders, professors and students.

As per political observers, he has big plans about future. What are his future plans?

As per sources, He wants to form a big organization for the welfare of BC’S, SC’S and ST’S. He wants to become “Andhra Ambedkar”.

But, Devender Goud is keeping his plans close to his chest.

On New Year day, he was greeted by students, professors and officials of Telangana region.

If Devender Goud forms a new party, it is a big loss for Telugu Desam Party in the Telangana region.

Congress will benefit immensely due to split in the TDP votes.

An astute leader like Devender Goud doesn’t know these statistics? Will he take wrong step?

Yerran Naidu and Devender Goud - Who will win?

Karimnagar and Bobbili by elections results are going to change the image of these two popular BC leaders. These by elections are litmus test for their strategies.

T.Devender Goud is a master strategist from Ranga reddy district in Andhra Pradesh, while K.Yerran Naidu is a popular leader from Srikakulam district. Both belong to backward castes.

While Devender Goud is in-charge for Karimnagar election, Yerran Naidu is for Bobbili elections.
Both are successful as far as campaigning is concerned. Both marshalled the cadre strategically.

They just over shadowed the candidates in these by elections. If TDP wins in these polls, credit goes to these leaders. Wait and Watch for the results.
Please comment on these leaders.

Road shows are succesful in Karimnagar

TDP President Mr. N.Chandrababu Naidu successfully completed his 2 day tour of karimnagar. People responded to the telugudesam leader speeches with unbelievable enthusiasm.

TDP cadre is in happy mood with stunning success of his road shows with more women attendance.

Naidu mainly attacked KCR indirectly sending signals that he is telugu desam's main opponent in the election.

Telugu desam has high hopes on backward caste (BC) votes and anti- government sentiment.
TDP incharge T.Devender Goud and Candidate L.Ramana also attended the road shows along with local party leader.
