Prakasam district Telugu Desam youth committee oath taking ceremony is held today at Sai Gardens in Ongole. Mannam Sridhar Babu has taken oath as Prakasam TDP youth wing president in a grand ceremoney attended by Telugu Desam leaders and activists. TDP leaders conducted a rally in the Ongole town on the occasion of youth wing oath taking ceremony.
Youth rally was started at 11:30 AM from St. Xaviers college and reached Sai Gardens function hall at 12:30 AM. TDP state vice-president, Karanam Balaram krishnamurthy, Party district president Damacharla Janardhan and MLC Sidda Raghava Rao also participated in the rally along with youth leaders. Markapur MLA Kandula Narayana Reddy, TNSF state president A. Narsireddy and TDP state youth president Bida Ravichandra Yadav also participated in the rally. Prakasam district dairy president, Challa Srinivasa Rao, party in-charges, Divi Sivaram, P. David Raju, Janjanam Srinivasa Rao and Shriram Malyadri and Edara Haribabu also attended the oath taking ceremony.
Prakasam TDP president, Damacharla Janardhan has been working hard to strengthen the party in the district. He has already announced committees for all wings. Telugu Desam Party is struggling in the district for the last 10 years. TDP won just one MLA seat in 2004 and 2009 Assembly elections in the Prakasam district. State leadership is the chief culprit for the failure of party in the district. They don’t appoint in-charges for some segments (Ex. Darsi) or appoint one-incharge and give ticket to another person.
Ex. Take Karanam Balaram. Even a leader of his stature fought hard to get Addanki Assembly ticket in 2009 Assembly elections. Take Ongole Assembly ticket – it was announced in the last minute (What Chandrababu Naidu is doing from 2004 to 2009?). It is waste to talk about Ongole Parliament as Party has no hopes on it.
What TDP leadership should do?
1. Believe in some leaders. Appoint in-charges for all Assembly segments and promise them tickets. Unsatisfied leaders will go away now.
2. Find a strong O.C (Reddy/Kamma) candidate for Ongole Parliament constituency.
3. Encourage leaders who are working hard for the welfare of the party.
4. Encourage the next generation of leaders. Congress party gave 4 Assembly tickets to young leaders in the 2009 Assembly elections.

Hi,
Why every time TDP is not getting highlighted in media, even parties like PRP getting highlighted for useless reasons and these parties having less percentage of votes than TDP.
To come back to power TDP should make a huge noise in media and every media should focus on this party.
Party should give responsibilty to young leaders and project them their future leaders so that many of the youth will be move towards TDP.
In this political crisis let the party take a sensation nenaadam where it attracts every person . Not telugodi atma gauravam as this is already old and fresh slogan(like stablility, peace, development for telugu people or maarpu–kotharam) to be taken up as bramhastra…
New tactics to be played in both regions like critisizing more on TRS in coastal and rayalseema regions and give publicity that TRS and Congress wanted to demize TDP in telangana so that party can gain advantage more in these areas. Let the leaders and cadre from other parties be invited so that the party will have a strong ground force.
